"MasterCard Secure Code" and "Verified by Visa" work as follows: if you wish to pay per credit card, a code and/or password verification will provide more security to your transaction. An extra field appears for you to key in the secret code / password which are scrambled and sent directly to the credit card Company for verification. If you do not have a code or password, contact your credit card company.
